Dont feed stray animals because they breed.

Welfare and food stamps has always been argued by politicians as a program that is bad for America or as a program that some Americans would not be able to survive without. About ten years ago the government gave food stamps out very rarely. The government made the process of getting food stamps into a long difficult process as an attempt to only give food stamps to those who truly need it. The process was so rigorous and demanding that it denied food stamps to many that did need them. Now the government has changed dramatically by offering people to apply for food stamps. Government employees make calls and go to poverty regions of cities and encourage people to apply for food stamps. Many criticize the program as being bad for Americans because it makes Americans dependent on their government to survive. A republican candidate for governor of South Carolina, Andre Bauer, went as far as saying that his Grandmother “told me as a small child to quit feeding stray animals. You know why? Because they breed.” Others believe that the program can help the economy and most low income families need the extra help to survive. I believe that food stamps is a great program because many families can use the help of receiving money for food to allow them to spend that money on other needs.
