Dont feed stray animals because they breed.

Welfare and food stamps has always been argued by politicians as a program that is bad for America or as a program that some Americans would not be able to survive without. About ten years ago the government gave food stamps out very rarely. The government made the process of getting food stamps into a long difficult process as an attempt to only give food stamps to those who truly need it. The process was so rigorous and demanding that it denied food stamps to many that did need them. Now the government has changed dramatically by offering people to apply for food stamps. Government employees make calls and go to poverty regions of cities and encourage people to apply for food stamps. Many criticize the program as being bad for Americans because it makes Americans dependent on their government to survive. A republican candidate for governor of South Carolina, Andre Bauer, went as far as saying that his Grandmother “told me as a small child to quit feeding stray animals. You know why? Because they breed.” Others believe that the program can help the economy and most low income families need the extra help to survive. I believe that food stamps is a great program because many families can use the help of receiving money for food to allow them to spend that money on other needs.

Sarah Palins Puppeteer

Multiple E-mails were released of Sarah Palin’s husband and has brought forth many questions as to why the E-mails are about government relations. Some E-mails showed evidence that Todd Palin got involved in judicial appointments, monitoring contract negotiations with public employees, such assets of government. What I understood from this controversy is that Todd Palin was greatly involved in Sarah Palin’s term as governor and since Sarah Palin is always being judged that she is not a very bright political candidate she was the puppet and Todd Palin was the man behind the curtains. Which I believe that behind every great man there is a great woman, why not vice-versa? It would be impossible to not be involved in a spouses job in some way.

Should We Have Some More?

Congress will soon have a vote on a bill that will increase America’s deficit spending to a record high of $14.3 trillion. The money that will be borrowed will be used to attempt to restore America’s economy. The economy will be attempted to be restored by having tax cuts and reinforcing some already established government programs made to restore the economy. I believe that America will put themselves in a position that will be incredible difficult to fix. America will leave a great dept for future generations which will complicate the future of America. It seems as if in recent years the only way to attempt to restore America’s economy is to borrow money and spend it on government programs and once that doesn’t seem to work fast enough America borrows more money to try it again.

To Meet or Not To Meet... that was the question

President Obama Is held with a rough political decision whether to allow the visit of the Dalai Lama on Thursday. China views allowance of the visit of the Dalai Lama as a sign of support of the belief that the Dalai Lama is perusing Tibetan independence, although no evidence of such plans has been revealed. If President Obama were to postpone the visit once more it would greatly anger American lawmakers and civil groups because they view the monk as an important figure. I believe that since the Dalai Lama denies all accusations of attempting to gain Tibetan independence and no evidence has been revealed that the President has a greater priority to fulfill president tradition of meeting with the Dalai Lama to demonstrate to the American people his support for the Dalai lamas believes. Also its not like China will end all relations with the U.S. over such an event because the reality is that America owes China a great amount of money and they need to maintain a good relationship with the U.S. to get their money back and to keep having the luxury of America barrowing money from them.
